What vacation isn’t complete without a broken down vehicle, $135 tow bill, $1200 repair bill, being stranded for 4 days, hitching rides to the grocery store to get your son a birthday cake, and a stingray barb in the finger….welcome to our week.

Things really did get better….the tow truck took us to a Chevy dealership, all of the rental car places were closed or too far to deliver a car to us. The dealership manager drove us and ALL of our luggage to our condo, then he took Steve to get a few items at the grocery store. He was a lifesaver! The next day was Nolan’s birthday. Steve stood on our front balcony looking for his victim….he found a man that needed help with a cooler and traded his muscles for a ride to the store to get a cake for Nolan’s birthday. By Tuesday the dealership brought a car to us. Finally we were mobile! Wednesday we took the kids on a dolphin cruise. Then back to the dealership to pay our boat load of money. By Thursday it was time to say goodbye to Chad. My nephew had stayed with us for several days…he endured the hour being stranded on the side of the road in 100 degree temps.! We took off to Murrells Inlet and then to Andy Owen’s Music Center. Cody meet Phillip Watson, lead guitarist for The Drifters. We were honored to hear him play for us. Cody FINALLY found the guitar he has always wanted and purchased it…..now I have listened to him playing for hours and hours and hours……….

This was a second before Nolan went under!

Logan pulled another tooth…..
Cody and Chad shrimping- they caught over a dozen fresh shrimp!

This would be the barb that got Steve’s finger….

FINALLY….I can post Jill’s bridal photos. We took these several months ago but had to wait until after the wedding to post! We had so much fun shooting these photos. We brought along our 13 year old son and let him shoot. Jill and her Mom, Debbie, were alot of fun to work with. The wedding photos are coming soon…..they are dynamite!

The rain left just in time for our shoot at Myrtle Beach this past weekend. Lindsay and Randy are such an amazingly cute couple (and puppy, Bella too)! We are psyched about their big day, 10.10.10…bring it on baby!

Only 16 days into 2010 and Karen & Chris set the bar for awesome! To the rest of our 2010 clients on deck, you better bring your A game!

And boy were there tears of joy!

This had to be one of the funniest things I have seen someone do to keep their best friend from crying!

Eight families joined us for camping at Lake Wateree State Park. We had a spectacular time and wanted just one more day, but we didn’t get it. We enjoyed being able to spend time with friends and relaxing. The kids played their hearts out. For everyone that couldn’t come….you don’t want to miss it next year! I took over 400 photos, so this is just a VERY small “tame” taste of all the fun (the crazy stuff is on Facebook!).
My tree hugging kids.

The rain came Saturday morning and lasted until (precisely) noon. We are thankful to Scott for bringing his rain shelter. Everyone, but the kids, stayed dry.

Playing cards in the rain.

Kelsey and Steve playing Cornhole. Drew, that is one BIG bubble!

Steve & Courtney’s cornhole boards that they hand-crafted.

The rain stopped, the pinata came out. Candy time! All of the kids had the chance to carve a pumpkin! Spooky!

October 10th, 2009 ~ First Baptist Church, Fort Mill, SC

Lianne and Mitchell chose the “first look” which allows the bride and groom to share an intimate moment together before the ceremony. It also allows us to be able to get all of their photos taken prior to the ceremony. It is great for us and perfect for them! The wedding jitters are all gone before you walk down the isle and the entire day is stress free!

One of my personal fav.!!

Another Fav!
My VERY, VERY, VERY, FAVORITE Shot!
